1. PLACES / JORDAN CREEK PARKWAY
Jordan Creek winds through this 269 acre suburban oasis. This park offers a variety of options for active and passive recreation. Much of the park is a wooded area with trails for hiking, jogging, and trail biking at all levels. The area is excellent for bird watching and nature study. The Jordan Creek offers fishing opportunities. JCP is also the home to an excellent 6000+ foot disc golf course that has hosted the World Disc Golf tournament.

Helpful Trail Information

Creek / River, Mud Puddles, Shaded Hike, and Wildlife Viewing As of 1/10/2019, I have not been able to locate trail maps for this site. When you leave the parking lot and enter the trail, you can turn left, and follow the creek. When you see a pedestrian bridge on your right, cross it, and turn right, following the creek. After walking a bit, you will see a disc golf basket on your right, look for a trail that is close to the creek. (Not the big hill, straight ahead) – Although I am sure that would work too. You will be on a much more narrow trail at this point. Continue on this until it opens up – then head to your right. (You should be able to see a pedestrian bridge in the distance to your right) Look for a set of stairs to your right. Proceed down stairs, and turn right onto the pedestrian bridge – This will lead you back to the parking lot. – There are more trails at this park – I just haven’t explored them yet.
