Island Lake County Park

Island Lake County Park, is a small lake outside of Poulsbo, offering a mostly paved trail through the forest section and along the waterfront. Along with the trails, there is a sandy beach to play, dig, and build sand castles in, a NON TRAILERABLE boat launch and a fishing pier. This is a great well rounded park for families that like to enjoy nature in many different ways. Next to the smaller parking lot and building, there is a nice playground with picnic benches along the outskirts of the play area. A perfect spot to stop for a snack and play away from the water. The paved trail that leaves this area leads to the waterfront, where you can enjoy the sand and shady area from the trees.
