1. PLACES / INTERURBAN TRAIL
Flat stroller accessible trail follows old interurban rail pathway to a recreated train stop in the middle of the hike at the location of the old Junction station. At the train stop historical signage and photos share the story of the rail line as it existed in the 20th century.  Continue past the Junction for a while before turning back and following the trail back to the parking lot. Trail passes thru swampy area that has for years been known as a large rookery for heron. Kids love the fun covered bridge on the trail.
