1. PLACES / INDIAN CREEK GREENWAY - ROE PARK
From Roe Park in Overland Park, you can access the Indian Creek Greenway, which is a 17-mile paved walking/biking trail following Indian Creek from Olathe to Kansas City, MO. It is mostly flat/low grade and is popular with pedestrians, dog walkers, joggers, and cyclists. Roe Park itself offers two playgrounds, a nature play area, picnic shelters, and flushing toilet facilities. The north playground is newer and includes a spray park in warmer months. The nature area has a water feature as well. There is a paved loop walking path around the park, with access to the greater Indian Creek trail to the southeast and southwest.  Along the east path, the trail goes up to street level at Roe Avenue for a ways before heading back off road along Indian Creek Parkway.
