1. PLACES / HOYPUS POINT
This great trail for all ages and stages begins at the North end of the parking lot near the Cornet Bay boat launch. The trail is an old road, but half way down it has washed out. There are a few places with steep drop offs. Keep to the left, walking along the waters edge. At the end of the trail is a great bench to relax and let the kids play at the beach. After a storm, there can be lots of debris on the path, otherwise it is great for any type of stroller. Large puddles here are a favorite to splash in! Several benches along the way to enjoy the beautiful sights. Because the Navy base is near, please note, jets can sometimes fly over and be quite loud.
