1. PLACES / HORSETHIEF FALLS
This 2.5 mile out and back trail has a gradual incline to a small waterfall.  It is mostly shaded, and there are some nice views of aspen during the fall.  It is a popular hike during the fall when many people are out looking at the aspen. Along the trail there are “fairy houses” that are fun for the kids to play and explore around. It is a great hike during the summer where kids can play in the water, because it is not a large waterfall.  It is not stroller or wheelchair friendly, and is best not to hike during the winter.  In the beginning is some switchbacks with the most elevation gain, and then it becomes a straight wide trail that the kids can have room to explore.
