1. PLACES / HONEYGO ROCKS
With small kids, finding hidden gems near all the things is a HUGE bonus. Outdoor trip plus library/grocery/lots of other things is such a win! While Honeygo Regional park is quite large and spread out, you’ll want to park at 9033 Honeygo Blvd parking lot. Once parked, walk past the pavilion so it’s on your right, and head downhill towards the dog park. At the gate for the dog park, follow the fence  around to the left. You’ll see a trail once inside the tree canopy and it will be blazed Red. Follow down until you see a yellow trail blaze and you’ll shortly reach the Honeygo Run and “Big Rocks”. This is a wonderful play spot for all ages. You can return back to the parking lot and hit up the playground (or drive further on Honeygo Blvd to Angel Park and Perry Hall BCPL). You can also add an additional hike into this by continuing on the Red Trail 0.4 miles, when it T’s turn right and head 0.3 miles back to the paved path.
