1. PLACES / HEYBROOK LOOKOUT
Beautiful short hike through the woods to a fire lookout. This is a short, steeper hike. So poles can be yours best friend, especially if carrying a little one. Make sure to have water on hot days, the woods keep that heat in! Once at the end of the trail you will get to the lookout where there is a picnic table where you can stop, rest and eat. You can also make the climb up the 89 steps to the lookout view point to look over the valley and mountains. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/heybrook-lookout https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/mbs/recarea/?recid=17934 Submitted by: Rachel Potts, Hike it Baby Seattle
