Heritage Park is a 1,238-acre park park in South Olathe, operated by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District. The park features a 40-acre lake with a paved walking trail. The trail is mostly flat, and is appropriate for both little walkers and strollers. Bathrooms with flushing toilets are available at the boat dock/marina on the east side of the lake March 1 through October 31. Port-a-potties are onsite during winter months (Nov 1 through Feb 28). Helpful Trail Information

Creek / River, Fishing, Lake, Picnic Area, Playground, and Shelter There is a small boat dock by the parking lot. Around the northwest corner of the lake is a small footbridge over a creek. “Black Bob Island” is accessible via a grass peninsula if anyone wants a closer look at the old brick silo.
