1. PLACES / SILVER CASCADE TRAIL
This trail is found in the North Cheyenne Canyon Park, and is a great toddler friendly hike.  It features a series of stairs that follows along the creek to the top of Silver Cascade Falls. From the trailhead and parking lot area, you can enjoy the views of Helen Hunt falls and splash near there during the summer months, and it is near the seasonal visitor center.  The seasonal visitor center has educational exhibits, restrooms, and a gift shop. From the trailhead, head upwards on the stairs and cross the bridge.  The trail is well marked, and be careful of loose rock and dirt along the way. This hike is great during the summertime, but can be busy. There isn’t a lot of shade at the beginning of the hike, but at the end you can hike near water and the shaded area to cool down.  There is an overlook at the top. It is not stroller or wheelchair friendly.  Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed. PC: Krystal Weir
