1. PLACES / GUY FLEMING TRAIL
This is a short, flat loop located inside Torrey Pines State Reserve. There are a few spots that have stairs, most of which lead to one of the viewpoints. Along the trail there are some signs about local plants. Stop at one of the benches and enjoy the ocean views. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a whale or some dolphins. This trail is also well known for wildflowers in the spring. The total length of your hike will depend on where you park. If you take advantage of the free street parking, expect to add up to a mile each way. If you visit on a slow day and pay to park inside, there is a small dirt turnout on the hill close to the trail head where a few cars can park.

Parking Details

The closest parking is the dirt turnout just below the trail head. It can fit a few cars, but will fill quickly on busy days. Parking prices vary from $12-$25/day. There is free street parking just outside the park entrance, but get there early and be prepared to hunt for a while. This can add up to a mile each way to your hike.
