1. PLACES / GUFFEY GORGE
Guffey Gorge, also referred to as Paradise Cove, is a popular recreation site.  It is highly recommended to go during a week day, and early morning if possible due the popularity of this trail.  There are rocks and steep areas along the path, so this trail is not stroller or wheelchair friendly.  Carriers are highly recommended for younger hikers, or holding their hand during the hike. You will hike along West Fourmile Creek for a mile and after a steep descent down a hill, you can enjoy the small swimming hole that is bordered by rock walls and is fed by a cascade.  At the parking lot there are vault toilets, and trash service during the summer months.  Possession of alcohol is prohibited, no amplified music; pets are required to be on leash, and visitors must park in the designated parking area.
