Helpful Trail Information

Camping Nearby, Junior Ranger Program, Natural Play Area, Ranger Led Hikes, Shaded Hike, Visitor Center, and Wildlife Viewing This is just a great easy hike for the family. Hiking through the wash and seeing the tall canyon walls is pretty amazing. Wide trail and great to let your toddler run around. It is also very shady so a great hike to do during the summer if it is warm out. If you’re hiking in the winter or colder months, try to do this midday when the sun is at its highest. Although there are no facilities at this trailhead, the visitor center is just 4.5 miles down the road which has food, camping, a little shop, ranger station, and more.
