Gilbert Riparian

This park has easy, flat hiking trails around several ponds. The trails are gravel and wide so you can easily bring a stroller on them. One of the ponds has a paved sidewalk around it. There are lots of birds and native plants as well as educational info plaques around the trails. You can bring grain to feed the ducks. There is an observatory that has events some nights and there is also a large grassy area and ramadas with picnic tables where kids can run around and there are sometimes events there on the weekends. It’s free to park and enter and it’s right next to the library which has a large children’s section.
