1. PLACES / EVANSBURG STATE PARK-OLD FARMSTEAD TRAIL
The Old Farmstead Trail in Evansburg State Park is great in all seasons. Kids love stomping through the mud, crossing bridges and playing in the stream. The older kids love reading the signs along the trail about the history of the area and plant and animal life. A portion of the trail runs along the Skippack Creek which is a fun place to cool off in the summer! The trail does get extremely muddy when in rains, so I highly recommend shoes with good traction.

Helpful Trail Information

Camping Nearby, Creek / River, Fishing, Playground, Shaded Hike, and Wildlife Viewing This trail is very well shaded and comfortable to walk even in the summer. We have often seen deer running in the woods and you may spot wildlife in a stream or the creek. The Skippack Creek is a great splash area in the summer!
