1. PLACES / EVANSBURG STATE PARK-MILL RACE TRAIL
This trail is a pretty easy one for toddlers. To access this trail, park in first lot on right after entering the park. Walk all the way to the end of the lot and follow signs for Mill Race Trail. The trail is mostly dirt and passes over some small bridges and streams.  It has some small hills that are still manageable for young toddlers. The Skippack Creek is visible for a brief part of the trail. It ends in what must be the “old growth” section of the park with several pine trees. Be careful with younger children around fallen logs and high brush here. The trail is very easy to follow especially since the trail has been recently reblazed. The tricky part is near the end when you reach the first parking lot, you will need to follow the trail signs and cross over 2 more parking lots to get to the end.

Helpful Trail Information

Creek / River, Playground, Shaded Hike, and Wildlife Viewing The Skippack Creek can be seen briefly at the beginning of the hike. There are some small streams to cross. The main attraction in my opinion is how you feel like you are deep in the forest on this low mileage hike.
