1. PLACES / ERRATIC ROCK STATE NATURAL SITE
The walk is on a paved trail and less than a mile out and back. There is decent incline as it leads you up to beautiful views of the valley. At the top you’ll find the largest glacial erratic in the Willamette Valley in western Oregon. A great spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. There is NO PHYSICAL ADDRESS for this park. Please use GoogleMap or use GPS Coordinates: 45°08′24″N 123°17′35″W. There are signs along Hwy18 directing you as well.  Parking is not really marked, but you’ll see there’s a slight gravel pull off across the road from the trailhead. The rock is a great climbing attraction for kids and a bench to sit and watch them play.  During the summer you’ll find fruit for picking along the trail and enjoy beautiful colors and views in the fall.
