1. PLACES / DOWNTOWN RENO RIVER WALK
Our group has hiked the Friday Coffee Walk here since February 2017. We start at the Hub Coffee Roasters (Dorinda’s Chocolate shop is also here), then stroller and or carrier walk on a paved path along the Truckee River to Idlewild Park for playground fun and a return walk back. In the spring and summer there is a kids train for a couple dollars that rides around the pond near the playground.

This is a great place to ride bikes with kid trailers on the however it is along the river so young children not advised to bike if they have limited control.
