1. PLACES / DIAMOND HEAD SUMMIT TRAIL
Stunning 360° views that require a little bit of work. This trail is steep and strenuous, has uneven footing, many switchbacks, steep stairs, and narrow tunnels. But don’t let that frighten you, take your time and check out the gorgeous views! Railing is all along the path, however, they are wide and children could slip through. Please keep and eye on/hold hands/etc. The last entrance to hike the trail is at 4:30 pm. The gates are locked at 6:00 pm daily and all visitors must be out of the park by this time. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for your hike. Wear good walking shoes, bring water, and wear a hat and sunscreen.
