Deering Wildflower Acres

This area is great for kids to hike on their own! Used as a research area for the University of Washington, this is a delicate park where pets are not allowed. Deering is to be preserved in its natural state for scientific, educational, and aesthetic purposes as a condition of use, making it a great escape from busy city life. A perfect way to withdraw into nature as you wander around the extensive trails that weave their way though around ponds and through wetlands.
