1. PLACES / DAWSON BUTTE RANCH OPEN SPACE
This trail is a 5.1 mile loop.  The trail provides views of open fields and wildflowers during the summertime. It is all-terrain stroller friendly, but there are some sandy areas on the trail where it can be a little difficult to push through.  This is a great carrier hike if you want to complete the entire hike.  Feel free to do an out-and-back stroller or toddler led hike.   The area is popular for horseback riding, so be aware of this.  During the winter months the trail can be snow packed, so spikes or snowshoes is recommended.  The trail will be more crowded during the weekends.  It is best to hike this trail during the summer and fall months.
