1. PLACES / CYLBURN ARBORETUM WILD LOOP
The garden grounds of Cylburn are magical, but so is the hidden beauty in the wild loop! Leaving the parking area, and walk to the conference center. Let the kids roll or run down the dirt amphitheater and walk along the deer fence until you find your first deer gate. Make sure to close it behind you and enjoy the gradual switchbacks peering off to the creek below. Wrap around with view to I-83 and climb under and over fallen logs. Head back uphill via the vista trail and locate the deer gate again. Once back on the maintained grounds, enjoy playing in the bamboo grove or running across the small wooden bridge. Still have energy to burn? Head uphill to the paved pathway and duck under the weeping Beech tree.
