- PLACES / CUMBERLAND RIVER BICENTENNIAL TRAIL
The Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail is located in Cheatham county Tennessee about 23 mi. from downtown Nashville. It is a rail to trail that is very flat and runs from Ashland City at the Marks Creek trailhead to Cheatham Dam rd. for a total distance of about 9 miles. The first 3.5 miles are ADA and paved with wonderful water views of Sycamore creek with 110 year old trestles and bluffs. The Eagle pass section is gravel and allows a parallels the Cumberland itself.
