Helpful Trail Information

Creek / River, Lake, Mud Puddles, Picnic Area, Playground, and Shaded Hike Trail passes around sports fields, thru woods, over several bridges. Near lodge a fishing platform is a great place to view fish and turtles. On the back side of the lodge is pond access down a small slope. Near end of trail towards Tolland Intermediate School is the local children’s garden with garden sheds that look like cute cottages and a log stump circle with local flora/fauna information. A Free Little Library near the sheds is a favorite stop. Along Cider Mill Road is a small dam for the main pond, in high water this creates a “waterfall” that is always a hit with little ones.
