1. PLACES / CONFLUENCE TRAIL
The Confluence Trail is located in a 344 acre park and a nice little trail that runs along the Virgin River in the middle of a deep gorge below the town of La Verkin. There are two entry points to this trail. One route takes you from the parking lot next to River Rock Coffee Shop down a fire road and a hill. This is a bit of a steep climb up for kids who aren’t good walkers. But if you are carrying and comfortable with uphills, this is a great trail. The easier route takes  you from the north side of the town and you can hike in on a flat trail toward the coffee shop. This hike has some spooky old mining buildings and a rope swing, so kids will love the trail. Also a great dog walking trail. photos by Zion Adventure Photog
