1. PLACES / CLARK LAKE PARK
There are a few side trails, but I’ll describe the longest trail here. Starting at the trailhead across from the elementary school, it’s a gentle grade down to the lake. The wooden dock has been renovated recently and is a wonderful stop along the trail to spot turtles, frogs, and water fowl. The larger open area near the dock has a trail to a parking lot that holds about 10 cars. Continuing around the lake you’ll climb to a viewpoint and lollipop your way back to the trailhead. There are boardwalks, wetlands, gentle hills, and lots of wide open views. An all-terrain stroller should work along the main trail, however there are a few easy steps and hills.
