1. PLACES / CIVIC TRIANGLE (JORDAN PARK HOUSE) - WATERFORD - CT
Jordan Park House is a land marker to designate an alternate parking area at Civic Triangle Park. The parking is off Avery Lane. You will see a sign for the Waterford Historical Society. Wander behind the historic buildings and you will find a short, tranquil hiking trail. The trail markers are small - keep an eye out. This parking area is most ideal for toddlers enjoying the hiking offered in the park. You can start them off on the trail, keep them going by reminding them of the playground at the end, and then quickly loop back to your car via the public library parking lot when they are all done.
