This trail is great for summer hiking with little ones. There are several ups and downs. Lots of animals to see. The trail is mostly gravel and dirt. It can be mushy and muddy if it has rained a good bit in the last few days. This trail is the wider loop of the three trails in the Nikiski Community Trails Area.
