Chimney Rock is a unique giant rock located in Chimney Rock State Park. There are 500 stairs to get to the top, but if you or your kids aren’t up to it you can take an elevator to the top too. If you go the stair route, you will pass many unique features like viewpoints, a cave, grotto, tight squeezes, and more. Once you’re at the top of Chimney Rock, enjoy the gorgeous views! If you’re up for the challenge, you can continue past Chimney Rock for more viewpoints, unique features, and trails.
There are bathrooms, gift shop, and food located at the end of the parking lot near Chimney Rock. You have to pay to enter Chimney Rock State Park. Make sure to get a map at the pay station. Check their website for prices and all details. https://www.chimneyrockpark.com
