Chico Tree Farm - Mendocino National Forest Seed Farm

This nature conservancy is an amazing loop trail for little hikers! It’s shaded during the hot months and is about a mile long with lots of different sights to see. There is a creek that runs along part of the trail and a couple places to stop and look at it. There is a bamboo forest, a couple wooden bridges, benches for resting or snacking, and a lot of wildlife to view. In the warmer months there are almost always little lizards sunning themselves on the path and there are birds everywhere. This is a highly trafficked trail and you meet a lot of leashed dogs.
