Cheyenne Mountain State Park - Zook Loop

This 1.1 mile loop trail is a great toddler friendly hike within the Cheyenne Mountain State Park.  All-terrain strollers can be used if the trail is dry, and usually during the summer months it is clear of snow, ice, and mud.  The trailhead features a playground, covered picnic area, and indoor restrooms that are open all year round. This trail features a ‘rock garden’ at the midpoint, where you can stop for a snack break and allow kids to play and climb around.  No dogs are allowed on this trail.  On your way in or out of the park, you can stop at the visitor center and explore.  There is also camping options within the park.
