1. PLACES / CEDAR BRAKE TRAIL
The Cedar Brake trail has many ups and downs and is of moderate difficulty, consider bringing trekking poles. Approximately half way through the trail there is a small side trail to an overlook with a bench. This is a wonderful place to enjoy a great view of the open mid-story in the forest, giving a clear view of the under-story. It is a great place to view birds and appreciate the local ecological system or stop and enjoy some lunch! This trail is not stroller friendly so please bring a carrier for your little ones! Bring plenty of water as there is none available on the trail. There are a few benches along the trail to take a break.   Submitted by: Rachel Mendoza
