Cascades Trail

At 1mile in length this hike is perfect for the family. The terrain changes quite a lot along the trail keeping the whole family interested in the scenery. The trail head begins at the top of a hill and then follows down the hill to a lovely creek with some small cascade falls. The trail follows the creek then heads back up the hill to loop around the top and across a fun suspension bridge.

Creek / River, Playground, Shaded Hike, Shelter, Waterfall, and Wildlife Viewing Small cascade waterfalls, hills and stairs along this trail makes for a nice short but moderate hike. Fun swinging suspension bridge.

Parking Details

County residences may use the park free of charge. Out of county visitors are asked to pay $5 per vehicle for a day pass or purchase a $10 yearly pass for access to all the Metroparks of Butler Co. Parking for this trail head is straight past the stop sign, up the hill, first parking area to the left.
