Broadmoor Seven Falls

This paved trail leads to a large, seven tier waterfall. There is an admission fee to the area, as it is on Broadmoor owned property. It is also known as a tourist attraction, but it is worth the trip and if you go during off season, no crowds to speak of. After parking at the Norris Event center, a free shuttle will take you to the base of the road leading up to the falls. If you haven’t purchased an admission ticket online, you can do so here. The hike follows the road as it winds its way up South Cheyenne Canon. It follows the stream, gradually winding uphill through forest and large rock formations. At the end of the road is the waterfall. You can continue your journey by climbing up the steep staircase that parellels the waterfalls (to trails above the falls) or just below the restaurant is a cave/tunnel leading to an elevator (to a waterfall viewpoint). Return the way you came. Seven Falls hours include both dalight and nighttime (usually the falls are lit up by white light). During the holiday season the falls are lit with multicolor lights.
