1. PLACES / BRIGHTWATER TREATMENT CENTER
This fun interpretive center teaches kids all about the water cycle and what it takes to keep our waterways clean. The fun exhibits and hands on displays keep children engaged. After exploring indoors, take a stroll around the gravel and paved trails that surround the water treatment facility. There are several bridges, creeks, ponds, and viewing areas for the children to explore. The trails are all terrain stroller friendly, so it is also a great place for an adult paced stroll.

Helpful Trail Information

Creek / River, Lake, Mud Puddles, Natural Play Area, Picnic Area, Shelter, Visitor Center, and Wildlife Viewing The bunnies here are very friendly and used to heavy foot traffic. If you are quiet and still, they will come right up next to you and graze as you watch. The winter months bring a lot of rain and a lot of puddles, so bring your puddle stomping boots!
