1. PLACES / BRAD FREEMAN TRAIL
This trail is great for little hikers and really hikers of all ages too! The trail follows along the Thermalito Diversion Pool, which looks like a river full of wildlife! There is also a train track nearby and the trail goes under a train bridge. But the most exciting thing about this trail is that 1.2 miles in is a pretty long tunnel you can walk through. The trail is shaded in some spots, has giant water puddles in the rainy season, and is wide enough for an all terrain stroller to navigate. There are some steep drop off points along the trail, but again the trail is wide enough that it was not an issue for an 18 month old to navigate.
