1. PLACES / BATTLE GROUND - LEWISVILLE PARK
This 2.5-mile loop trail leads you along the East Fork Lewis River through a forest of Doug-firs, Western Red Cedars, Cottonwoods and Maples. The trail begins at the bottom of the parking area. Follow the paved trail through the picnic area to reach the road. Take a right to cross over a bridge through the parking area until you reach the trail along the creek. It will then take you along the river.  You’ll go over another footbridge and past the restrooms. Go right to pass the picnic area until you reach the junction to the fields and playground. Go right here to stay along the riverbank. The trail will widen as it passes the baseball field on the left. At the trail map, follow the shady trail left up to the hill. A path will lead to Rotter Road where you can drop down to the fee station. Go right to return to the parking area.
