1. PLACES / SAGINAW FOREST
This is a 1.7 mile loop (with potential for a bit of adding on!). The trail is a bit rugged in spots and is not appropriate for strollers. There are a few hills with roots, so watch your footing in spots! The trail goes through a pine plantation, but also has a ton of maples which makes it BEAUTIFUL to explore in the fall. There are two ponds, one which your cross on a bridge with no barrier. There is also a dock that juts out into one of the ponds that offers a beautiful view. The trail is mostly flat but there is one challenging section that goes uphill. No restrooms or water is available. Parking can be tricky.

Parking Details

DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE GATE. Please park at Westview Way, which is a subdivision across the street, just past the gate, if you’re coming from the east. CAREFULLY cross Liberty and there is a small trail across from the subdivision. DO NOT walk along Liberty, not only will you be meeting at the wrong place, but it is DANGEROUS!
