1. PLACES / ALPINE POPPY FIELD
The Alpine Poppy Field is a MUST SEE treasure in Lambert Park, Alpine, UT. The Poppies are in bloom between May and early June. This hike is not marked and not the easiest to find, you can find a map to the field HERE or in the gallery(Map photo thanks to The House That Lars Built). From the LDS church, walk east out of the parking lot and then take an immediate left on the dirt road, you’ll then see the Trailhead sign. Follow that trail up to the larger dirt road and take it until you get to a Y in the trail you can continue  on the larger Trail north up and around to the field or you can go right diagonally up to the field. This trail has some shade where the road does not. You’ll know you’ve arrived when you see the old brick building wall and teepee made out of sticks.
