OutGrown is a nonprofit committed to Bridging the Baby Nature Gap and fostering community connections through outdoor experiences for families with young children. Board members select committees or workgroups that align with their talents and interests, ensuring their contributions are personally fulfilling and impactful. We believe the best engagement happens when Board members work on projects that excite them and align with their goals.
If you’re ready to help us grow and make a difference, here’s the timeline for the 2024 Nomination Cycle:
September 15-October 15: Applications are accepted for open positions.
October 16 - November 5: Applicant interviews
November (Board meeting): Board deliberation and voting on all new candidates.
November 19-25: Board Development Committee follows up with all candidates.
November 25 - December 31: Onboarding of all incoming Board and committee members.
January 2025: New board and volunteer terms officially begin.
February 2025: First quarterly meeting with new board members.
